Quando una società autostradale di Harbin era alla ricerca di una nuova rampa per sedie a rotelle conforme ADA, ha deciso di utilizzare la griglia stampata di Tianfu New Material. Queste rampe non solo sono conformi all’ADA, ma promuovono anche l’inclusività.
Problema
La rampa in acciaio esistente sotto l'edificio di servizio non era più conforme alle norme a causa della grave corrosione. Pertanto, l’azienda aveva bisogno di una nuova soluzione per sostituirlo. A causa delle abbondanti nevicate ad Harbin, il sale viene spesso utilizzato per la rimozione della neve, il che ha portato anche a una grave corrosione della rampa in acciaio. L'azienda energetica voleva aggiungere un uso duraturo di grigliati sagomati al telaio della piattaforma esistente, costruita due anni fa.
Soluzione
L'azienda energetica ha deciso di utilizzare plastica rinforzata con fibra di vetro (FRP) invece dell'acciaio per la rampa.

– ADA-compliant traffic surface: Tianfu New Material’s micro-perforated, sand-laid moulded grating is constructed as a single sheet on a frame. Since there are no cuts and the whole sheet is laid, it meets ADA standards.
– Long service life: Due to the corrosion resistance of FRP, the service life of a FRP grating ramp will exceed that of a steel ramp.
– Low Maintenance Costs: While steel ramps require regular scraping, sandblasting or painting, FRP ramps are virtually maintenance-free, enabling energy companies to reduce maintenance costs and increase service life.
We chose TFN based on the good relationship we had developed on a previous project. Our sales staff also recommended changing the ramp fencing to FRP profiles, which are lightweight, corrosion-resistant and safe.
