M clip also termed as Saddle clip, provides excellent hold-down capability by securing FRP gratings to the support using 2 adjacent bearing bars. We provide M Clips that suit all types of FRP Moulded gratings (Square, Rectangle, Mini & Micro mesh) as well as Pultruded gratings.

Assembly: Standard M Clip comes as set with hex bolt, nut & washer. However, it can also be supplied with self-drilling screw for pilot drilling.

Installation: Insert the M clip in the open mesh FRP grating such that, it sits appropriately on the load bars & the base of the saddle clip is held close to the bottom of the FRP grating panel. For fixing M clip directly into the existing base structure, pilot drill through the hole in the clip and into the substrate then fasten using suitable screw & plug. And, for fixing M clip into a support frame, you will need to drill into the frame, insert the bolt and then tighten the nut & washer underneath the frame.

L clip is an alternative option of M clips used for securing gratings to the support structure. L clips are lighter duty fixing clips that hold down one FRP grating load bar to the base support.

Assembly: Standard L Clip comes as set with hex bolt, nut & washer. However, it can also be supplied with self-drilling screw for pilot drilling.

Installation: Insert the L clip in the open mesh FRP grating such that, it sits appropriately on a load bar & the base of the fixing clip rests on the bottom structure. For fixing L clip directly into the existing base structure, pilot drill through the hole in the clip and into the substrate then fasten using suitable screw & plug. And, for fixing L clip into a support frame, you will need to drill into the frame, insert the bolt and then tighten the nut & washer underneath the frame.

C clips are panel joining clips that are specifically designed for holding two adjacent panels of Moulded fiberglass gratings together to minimize differential deflections.

Assembly: C Clip is an assembly of joining clip that joins two adjacent grating panels and Allen cap bolt of suitable length for fastening using simple allen key. The lower nut can be welded to the fixing clip for installation from the top side of the fiberglass moulded grating.

Installation: For installation, slot the c clip over the 2 load bars at an angle and twist so the clip is horizontal then put the bolt in to the threaded base nut of the clip and tighten.

TFcomposite provides A Clip of two types, namely Dome washer clip & Recessed washer clip for securing a wide range of FRP Grating types & sizes.A Clips are also a great match for holding down fiberglass grit plates, checkered plates and covered fiberglass grating. A Clips can be used in conjunction with Gratemetal bottom clamps when you cant access to the bottom of the grating floor.

1. Dome washer clip: The round dome washer clips can be fixed directly to the substrate. Its dome shape design & recessed centre that allows the bolt to sit flush with it helps in reducing trip hazards. The larger surface area of dome washer clip offers better stability & superior holding capacity for a longer period of time and is therefore suitable in areas of heavy loads & regular passage of vehicles.

2. Recessed washer clip: The round recessed washer clip offers a flush surface design which can be directly fixed to the substrate. These round recessed washer clips are medium-duty clips and are recommended in areas where movement is restricted to the pedestrians only.

Assembly & Installation: A Clip is supplied with suitable countersunk cross-head bolt also called as CSK Philips bolt, nut & washer for fixing FRP gratings directly to the substrate. The length of the bolt corresponds with the height of the grating panel being secured.
